The PA Association of Weights and Measures is a PA registered non-profit corporation.

At our site we attempt to provide information for consumers, weights and measures enforcement officers and the industries that manufacture, sell or repair commercial weighing and measuring devices.

Additionally, we will accept for processing consumer complaints by forwarding them directly to the appropriate weights and measures agency. Also, PA law requires manufacturers, sellers and repairers to notify the PA Division of Weights and Measures when any commercial device is placed into service either initially or after repair. This can be accomplished by calling the state office at 717-787-9089.

We will accept phone inquires at 570-398-2811 regarding consumer issues and attempt to connect you with the appropriate agency.
